There is some exciting things going on with the 90scollab team. We have found out about the Face of JD  competition and decided to go for it.

So, it is all eyes go on Azza today and most importantly, all eyes on his tracksuit. He has been waiting to get it for long and we cannot lie, he had reasons for it. This Nike tracksuit is amazing. The way it is designed and the “swagginess” it gives him are on point.

All Nessi can say is that when looking at it, you know it is not just another tracksuit (that’s why I have to admit that I did buy the girl’s version of it :-p ).

When talking about daily outfits, Aaron studies sports and exercise, so he does own a lot of tracksuits and sports clothing. He mostly plays safe with it, but every outfit he gets is well thought of. The secret behind his style is that he chooses to make it look simple, but there is a lot of work put down for it. Mostly, though, he loves going for black and grey combos.

What has to be mentioned is that him being a master of matching, has found the perfect pair of Air Max 93 to go with it. This “Cool Grey” pair is one of them retro pair of trainers that when you see it in a shop, you know it has to be added to the collection.

Nike – Air Force 1 High Foamposite “Black History Month”

Ok…so by now, at first glance, you should know that it is Nessi’s kind of shoe….

Can’t even decide where to start.

Air Force is my weakness and when a shoe has a story, I just can’t resist buying it.

The Air Force Foamposite was released with the occasion of Black History Month. The tongue is decorated with the orange Black History Month insignia and I cannot express what a glory it is to wear them.

The shoe goes under the Air Force norms, but the copper foamposite upper and black midsole just give some extra points and just makes me think: “these are some special kicks”.

I love the fact that no matter the time of day I am wearing them, as soon as the shoes see some sort of light, the just love to create some amazing reflection.

Nike – Dunk High Brave Blue Reflective Silver

 

 

 

 

The one basketball shoe that is suitable for both all day wearing, on court or even better with this amazing reflective feature, at a party. No matter what the occasion is, these Dunks turn up.

Dunks are obviously inspired by Air Force but the Brave Blue is actually built on a skateboarding silhouette and so relates more to the Nike SB. Shows an upper side done in blue suede, perforated swooshes, and a grey midsole. The best feature of the shoe is the 3M reflectivity on the silver parts (that is what makes them turn up).

Brave Blue are hard to find and Aaron is happy to have found them in an exclusive store. Best believe he first wore them at a staff party and everyone was asking him where they were from.

Nike Air Force 1 Mid – Fusion Red

 

If you’ve been watching us for some time now, you know Nessi loves the Mid Air Force…                       White on White Air Force was our first post.

I switched now for a bit of colour…ok, some more colour. Fusion Red is LOUD! First time I wore them I was under the impression everyone was looking at them. Maybe it was cause of that fluffy shirt too…

No matter what, these Air Forces are perfect. I’ve been wearing them with all sorts of outfits…jeans, tracksuits and leggings. The best part of Air Force is that although it’s more of a “basketball look” pair of trainers, it can still go as a “casual all day” kind of creps. Wearing them tell a lot about one’s personality.

…oh, and it makes me look taller as it has a bit of a high sole 🙂

Fusion red is the base color of choice that covers the entirety of the resurrected relic with the exception of the laces, Swoosh and midsole. While suede is reserved for the prominent panels, nylon is present on the vamp and tongue to preserve the vintage look.

Nike Air Force Max CB 2 Hyperfuse – University Red

 

There is to much enthusiasm about this post…

I love bright coloured shoes and I love that Aaron chose this amazing Charles Barkley.

Just look at that #universityred mixed with them black tones…

The Nike Charles Barkley basketball shoes were first known for being a bit chunky, but that changed around 2014  with the advent of this particular CB 2 model that replaces the traditional leather sections with some Hyperfuse paneling.

Featuring synthetic leather and suede upper, this sneaker stands on a polyurethane midsole with a visible Air-Sole® unit. A rubber outsole rounds out this shoe for traction and durability.

Aaron wears the strap his own way, says it looks different and different means better in 90scollab language.

Go best with black jeans or a black tracksuit.
